Installations

Generations (2026)

Generations features flower work (a practice coming from my Ukrainian roots) upon a mound of black earth surrounded by dead dried poppies. The spiral represents generations…generations of culture and love… generations of devastation and displacement.

The Two Foxes Within (2024-25)

The piece is made from Bay of Fundy foraged clay and found ghost fishing gear. It speaks to hope, frustration, and apathy felt in the face of the environmental crises.

I would like to acknowledge the Canada Council for the Arts for supporting me to explore foraged clay and site specific works.

Garbage Dump of the future…hopefully., 2029
“Garbage dump, 2029” is an installation that considers a hopeful possibility for global politics while also commenting on consumerism and the capitalist state of ruin that will remain. The bear and the gull remind us that we are not the only ones that are impacted by global politics and human action.
